A pseudo-native of California, I received both my undergraduate and graduate education from the University of California, Berkeley. My Ph.D. advisor was Dr. Michael Jordan. I joined the Auton Lab in October 2006 as a postdoctoral fellow.
I am interested in novel applications of machine learning. In the past, they have ranged from text and music mining to automatic software debugging. Currently, I'm actively working on stastical models of the evolution of social networks and applications thereof.
