Anthony Wertz has been a research programmer and analyst in the Auton Lab since 2014. Coming from an embedded software background he brings practical design, development, integration, and test experience to benefit the development and maintenance of software in the lab.
Anthony is also very interested in applications of machine learning in medicine. In the lab he has contributed to work in: automated analysis of microvascular blood flow in sublingual videos; detection of hemorrhage in pig models; and understanding the impact of granularity and personalization in medical monitoring applications. Areas of great research interest are personalized medicine and biological interfaces in smart prosthetic devices.
